Riverside Farrell’s opens tomorrow

We’ve been anticipating this for a while…the Riverside Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour opens at 11 a.m. tomorrow (January 31)!

Many of you (myself included) remember the old Riverside Farrell’s at 10098 Magnolia Ave., which was converted years ago into a Coco’s Bakery Restaurant.

The new location, at 3610 Park Sierra Drive, threatens to put that old location to shame.

Formerly a Black Angus Steakhouse, it’s the largest of the chain at 8,700 square feet.

In addition to the main dining room, the new location includes a large ice cream fountain area with booths and bar seating where you can watch Farrell’s ice cream “artisans” as they work.

Of course, the location includes a candy store where you’ll will find a wide variety of nostalgic candy, apparel and souvenirs.

A large party room that can be reserved for private parties or available to local business to use for meetings is also available.

The company recognizes that the nostalgia factor is high with the company’s return to Riverside. Parlour Enterprises, Inc. CEO Michael Fleming sums it up thusly:

“We’re very excited to return to Riverside. This location marks a big step in the rebirth and growth of Farrell’s and being able to open just a few blocks from one of the original Farrell’s that was located on Tyler St. makes it just that much more special.”

Farrell’s Riverside will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. Reservations for 8 or more people can be made once the location opens by calling Farrell’s Riverside at 951-351-1200. Farrell’s party package specials will be available beginning March 1 and require a reservation.
