National Doughnut Day is tomorrow

Is it that time again?

Tomorrow (June 7) is National Doughnut Day, an event started by the Salvation Army as a fundraiser and to honor the ladies who served doughnuts to servicemen during World War I.

But really, every day is doughnut day as far as we’re concerned.

The annual event is still a fundraiser for the Salvation Army. Entenmann’s is giving the organization $1 for every “Like” it gains on Facebook between May 1 and June 15 (up to $30,000), so click here and help ’em out.

If you’re feeling a little more generous, you can click here to donate directly.

Entenmann’s is also sponsoring a contest with a top prize of free doughnuts for a year. Click here to enter.

Krispy Kreme is celebrating by giving customers a free doughnut on Friday at participating locations. The sole Inland Empire location, 4485 Mills Circle in Ontario, is participating. Click here for details.
