In the works since last year, Riverside’s D Dogs is finally open!

The downtown eatery focuses on gourmet hot dogs (natch) and sausages and burgers, plus wings, fries, salads and other sides.

Oh, and they have 38 beer taps.

D Dogs, 3557 University Ave., is open 11 a.m. to midnight daily.

Their website is still a work in progress, but they’ve been fairly active on Twitter and Facebook, and folks are already weighing in on their Yelp! page.
