Our friends at the Cupcake Wars-winning (and double I.E. Cupcake Fair award-winning) bakery [desi]gn cakes & cupcakes will be hosting another of their delicious open shop events Thursday night (July 11).
The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at their commercial bakery, 12207 Central Ave., Chino.
The bakery will be selling salted caramel, carrot cake and S’mores cupcakes, along with lemon macaroons and chocolate pecan cookies.

This year’s event comes with its own dance, along with an upgrade to a free small Slurpee, instead of those 7.11-ounce versions from years past.
And if that weren’t enough, there’s a cross-promotion with Six Flags that’ll allow you to get in for just $7.11 after 7:11 p.m.
It’s Claremont’s turn for restaurant week.
The inaugural Claremont Restaurant Week begins today (July 9) and concludes next Tuesday (July 16).
About a quarter of the city’s 80-plus eateries are participating in the event, offering prix fixe specials ranging in price from $10 to $40.

Boston’s Restaurant and Sports Bar doesn’t have a very big footprint in California.
In fact, there are just two locations: Rancho Cucamonga and Long Beach.
That number is about to increase 50%, as the chain is soon to open in north Fontana, just north of the 210 Freeway at Sierra Avenue.

Burger King has put its original chicken sandwich on sale beginning tomorrow (July 4).
As it has around Independence Day for the previous two years at least, the chain is offering the sandwich for just $1.04. The offer is good through Sunday (July 7).

Burger King locations can be found throughout the Inland Empire, though not as many as a year ago, as four locations (two in San Bernardino, two in Colton) have shut down in the last year or so.
