Food trucks headed to Corona tomorrow

Corona appears to be continuing its reign as the Inland Empire’s most food truck-friendly city.

It seems like there’s at least one event every week there.

Tomorrow’s (September 14) event happens to be the 100th anniversary of the Corona Road Race, which took place on the city’s circular Grand Boulevard in 1913, 1914 and 1916.

The centennial event will kick off at 9 a.m. with a ceremonial lap around Grand Boulevard, followed by a car show, a Pinewood Derby, music and the aforementioned food trucks from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at City Park, 930 E. Sixth St., Corona.

It is a free event.

The following trucks are scheduled:

Parking, with free shuttle service, is available at the North Main Metrolink station, 250 E. Blaine St.
