Food trucks still rolling to Cal State University San Bernardino

Although San Bernardino County lifted the ban on hot food trucks (sorta) over two years ago, there are still just a couple of local trucks registered with the county.

And the trucks don’t really operate on a daily basis as they do in Los Angeles and Orange counties.

And the only semi-regular stops for the trucks are at county breweries, typically on Friday nights.

And then there’s Cal State University San Bernardino.

Cal State has been hosting food trucks on a pretty regular basis (with the exception of school breaks) since May of last year, and this quarter is no exception.

The schedule is pretty straightforward. Two trucks serve Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On Wednesdays, you’ll find Pearson’s Louisiana Cajun and Suite 106 Cupcakery. On Thursdays, it’s Calbi BBQ and Suite 106 Cupcakery. The trucks park in front of the Pfau Library.

Suite 106 begins serving at 10:30 a.m.

This schedule runs through November 21.

The trucks are available to the general public, but you need a parking pass if you’re going to visit them. A parking ticket is way more expensive than a $2 one-hour parking pass.
