Undergoing a name and menu change is the former Seafood Grotto, which will become Umi Sushi and Oyster Bar. The restaurant, which features a giant center column salt-water fish tank, will get a new look as well as an updated menu.

The new menu will include Pacific sushi and oysters, as well as seafood and noodle entrées.

Umi should be unveiled at the end of this month.

The casino is also converting its former hotel retail shop into an as-yet-unnamed coffee and wine bar.

The new eatery will serve specialty coffee drinks, as well as fresh-baked pastries and sandwiches all day, and wine in the afternoons and evenings.

It will have an outdoor patio and an inside patio that faces the casino area.

Also getting updates are Blazing Noodles and the 24-hour Pechanga Café.

The refurbishment is expected to be fully complete by the end of the year.

Pechanga Resort and Casino is at 45000 Pechanga Parkway, Temecula.
