The Barstow Station Dunkin’ Donuts opened almost right on schedule Monday (November 4).

The location is the chain’s second in its return to California after shutting down its 15 Southern California locations just before the turn of the century (and a failed Sacramento location in 2002).

An outlet opened on Camp Pendleton in May of last year.

A combination Baskin-Robbins/Dunkin’ Donuts is set to open in the Embassy Suites San Diego next year.

Last month, the chain signed franchise agreements for 27 stores in the Inland Empire and north Orange County. Those are expected to open beginning in 2015.

The Barstow location is open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
