Today is December 12, or 12-12.

Krispy Kreme has dubbed it the Day of the Dozens.

On December 2, the chain created a Facebook post asking for 12,000 shares and promising a “sweet surprise” if that goal were reached.

Well, they got what they wanted…and then some.

As of this moment there are 133,561 shares on that Facebook post.

The surprise? A dozen free Krispy Kreme original glazed doughnuts with the purchase of a dozen doughnuts.
