Forty-five years ago this Friday (January 10), the first Old Spaghetti Factory opened in Portland.
The restaurant chain is celebrating that anniversary with a contest and special prices.
On Monday and Tuesday (January 13 and 14), as well as January 20 and 21, complete meals will be available for just $4 and $5.
The meals include fresh-baked bread, soup or salad, an entrée, plus a scoop of ice cream for dessert.
Coffee, tea or milk will only set you back a buck, and kids’ meals will be available for just $3.

For the contest, the chain is asking guests to share their favorite OSF memories.
Forty-five guests who share their memories will receive a $45 gift certificate.
In addition, weekly winners will receive an anniversary gift box and be featured on the chain’s Facebook page.
Plus, three top winners will receive dinner for 45 at their closest OSF.
Entries must be received by March 31.
