The High Desert is gaining a Jersey Mike’s Subs this week.

The Apple Valley location, 19179 Bear Valley Road, Suite 8, opens Wednesday (February 5) and is hosting a fundraiser through Sunday (February 9).

The sandwich shop distributed 10,000 coupons good for a free regular sub with a minimum $1 donation.

Funds raised will benefit the Apple Valley Police Activities League.

Jersey Mike’s is no stranger to giving back: Nationwide since 2010, the chain has raised more than $7.5 million for local charities and has given away more than 600,000 sub sandwiches to help numerous causes.

The new location will be open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
