OK, so it’s been open a couple of weeks, but the last time we drove past a little over a month ago, it still hadn’t opened.

“It” is the Cabazon In-N-Out Burger.

So, whether you’re heading to the outlets or to Morongo Casino and Cabazon is your destination, or you’re heading further east (the Date Festival is on through this weekend), you’ve got another option for food along the way.

Give a kiss, get a free entrée for Valentine’s Day at Qdoba

Menchie’s opens in Fontana, offers free frozen yogurt on Saturday

Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt has opened a new location in north Fontana, 16645 Sierra Lakes Parkway, Unit 100, and will be celebrating with a weeklong grand opening event.

The event kicks off Saturday (February 15) with free 8-ounce cups of frozen yogurt from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Also happening during the grand-opening event will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Menchie, T-shirt and other Menchie merchandise giveaways and other family-friendly activities.

Award-winning pizza on menu for next Let’s Dine Out Show Grub Club event

Spots are filling up for the next Let’s Dine Out Show Grub Club event, set for Sunday, March 9.

The event will take place beginning at 5 p.m. at A.J. Barile’s Chicago Pizza in Yucaipa.

If you haven’t made it out to the pizzeria for some award-winning pizza, this would be a good chance to do so.

Food truck wine pairing? Yes, it’s a real thing.

I don’t think we’ve ever seen a food truck wine pairing event, but one is happening from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday (February 15) at San Antonio Winery, 2802 S. Milliken Ave., Ontario.

The winery will be hosting the Bacon MANia truck and has put together a bacon/wine pairing menu.

Entrées, as well as wine by the glass, soft drinks and water can be purchased during the event.

Two of Panera Bread’s “hidden menu” items go legit

You might remember when we told you about Panera Bread’s not-so-secret “hidden menu” of low-carb salads, bowls and lettuce wraps.

Two of those items — the Power breakfast egg white bowl with roasted turkey and the Power chicken hummus bowl — have gone above board.

The two entrées have been added, along with three other new items, to Panera’s regular menu.

Rancho Cucamonga Chronic Tacos celebrating remodel on Saturday

Wee ManIf you ever wanted to chat with Jackass co-conspirator Jason “Wee Man” Acuña while munching on Mexican food, Saturday (February 8) is your day.

From noon to 6 p.m., the Rancho Cucamonga Chronic Tacos, 11920 E. Foothill Blvd., Suite 150, will celebrate its recent remodel and expansion.

The event is also a fundraiser, as the location will donate 15% of sales to the Jesse Rees Foundation, a group focused on fighting childhood cancer.

Chocolate Fantasy fundraiser returns to Redlands on Saturday

The annual Chocolate Fantasy fundraiser returns to Redlands on Saturday (February 8).

The event benefits the Boys and Girls Club of Redlands.

Tickets for the black-tie event, which begins at 7 p.m. in the Mitten Building, 345A N. Fifth St., are $75.
