It’s that time again!
Time to eat pancakes and help out local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
The day is tomorrow (March 4) and the place is your local IHOP restaurant.
For those of you who are unaware, it’s a really simple fundraiser.
Just show up between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. at your local IHOP, where they’ll give you a free short stack of pancakes. All they ask in return is a donation for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Of course, if you are going to be out of the country (although IHOPs in Canada and Puerto Rico are participating this year, and IHOPs in Mexico are raising funds for Asociación Mexicana de Ayuda a Niños con Cáncer) or are one of those one of those over-achiever types who can’t wait for tomorrow, you can always donate now.
IHOP has already raised $13 million in previous National Pancake Day events, beginning in 2006.
Last year, the chain served 4.5 million free pancakes and raised nearly $3 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
This year’s goal is a cool $3 million, and with your help (and your appetite), they will reach it.
IHOP restaurants can be found throughout the Inland Empire.
