We’ve been tracking the progress of several new eateries in Upland’s Colonies Crossroads, with Panera Bread, Pick Up Stix and Chipotle opening in recent months.

The latest is just about to open.

The Inland Empire’s newest Habit Burger Grill will officially open to the public at 10:30 a.m. on April 2, but the restaurant will host three fundraisers before that date.

On Sunday, March 30, the location will host a pair of fundraisers.

During lunchtime (11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.), the restaurant will be raising funds for the Scheu Family YMCA of Upland.

During dinnertime (5 to 7 p.m.), the location will raise funds for Claremont-based Shoes That Fit, an organization that provides new shoes for children in need. See the flier above.

On Monday, March 31, the eatery will host a fundraiser for Jasper Elementary School from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The Habit will donate 100% of sales to the three organizations during their respective fundraisers.

The Upland Habit Burger is at 1071 E. 19th St., Suite E.

Other Inland Empire locations include Chino Hills, Eastvale, Temecula, Murrieta and La Verne.
