Farrell’s Quake Shake sales to benefit Red Cross

QuakeShakeTalk about timely.

Hot on the heels of last week’s 5.1 temblor in La Habra and this week’s deadly Chilean earthquake, Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour has created a Rocky Road Quake Shake, made with chocolate ice cream and a marshmallow swirl and topped with whipped cream, almonds and a cherry.

Through Sunday (April 6), the chain is donating 100% of the sales of the $4.99 dessert to the American Red Cross

In addition, guests will receive a handout on earthquake preparedness with instructions on how to be ready for a large magnitude earthquake.

Also, Red Cross donations will be accepted at each restaurant. To donate directly, click here.

The fundraiser will take place at all Farrell’s locations, including the Inland Empire’s Rancho Cucamonga and Riverside locations.
