Dining Out for Life returns to the Palm Springs area tomorrow

The annual Dining Out for Life fundraiser for AIDS and HIV support services returns to the Palm Springs area tomorrow (April 24).

More than 40 restaurants are participating this year.

The concept is simple: All you have to do is dine out at any of the participating restaurants on that day. The restaurants donate a portion of your meal — anywhere from a generous 33% to a staggering 75%, depending on the restaurant — to a designated AIDS service organization.

In Palm Springs, that means Desert AIDS Project.

In addition to getting a delicious meal and a great feeling knowing you’ve helped support men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS, there’s also an opportunity to win a 32GB iPad, a pair of tickets to Desert AIDS Project’s Summer Dance Party at the Ace Hotel and Swim Club, and other prizes.

Simply pick up an entry envelope at participating restaurants or at Desert AIDS Project on Thursday. No purchase is necessary.

The organization is also seeking volunteers for the event. To find out how to help out, click here.

And if you can’t make it out to the Coachella Valley on Thursday, and still would like to contribute, just click here to get started.
