It’s time again for the Cheers event at Fairplex in Pomona. Tonight’s (June 21) the night.

Billed as “L.A.’s wine, spirits, beer and food festival,” the event showcases the award-winning wines, spirits, beers, olive oils and dairy of the 2014 Los Angeles International Competitions.

More importantly, it’s a fundraiser for educational programs at the Learning Centers at Fairplex, which offers educational programs for students of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Tickets are $60 at the door and include beverage and olive oil samplings, plus $10 to spend at any of a dozen food trucks.

Plus, $25 of your ticket price is tax deductible, which brings the price down to $35, really.

The event runs from 7 to 11 p.m. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older and bring a valid I.D.

The night will also feature a silent auction and dancing.
