Farrell’s Ice Cream Challenge is back

Farrell's Ice Cream Eating Challenge 2015Do you love ice cream?

Do you really love ice cream?

If you do, and you think you’ve got what it takes, good news: Qualifications have begun for Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour Restaurant’s sixth annual Splendiferously Superific Summer Spectacular Ice Cream Eating Challenge.

Whew…that’s a challenge just reading that.

To qualify, visit any Farrell’s between now and July 12 and pay a $20 entry fee. You’ll receive a limited-edition T-shirt, a $5 coupon for your next visit and a three-scoop sundae.

Then, wolf down that sundae as fast as you can.

If you’re one of the fastest at downing that dessert, you’ll compete July 19 in downtown Brea against other speedy ice cream fanatics, with multiple challenges for men, women, children and groups.

Winners in all categories will receive a year’s worth of ice cream.

The fastest contestant in the Solo Zoo Challenge will compete against professional eater (and Inland Empire resident) Naader “FREAK8R” Reda for a chance at $750.

All the details can be found here.

Farrell’s has locations in Riverside and Rancho Cucamonga. Proceeds will benefit CHOC Children’s and Make-A-Wish.

Good luck, and try not to get brain freeze!
