Today (August 6) is national Root Beer Float Day, and three fast food chains are offering special deals in honor of the day.

  • A&W Restaurants: The restaurant chain that’s most famous for its root beer, A&W will be offering up free root beer floats from now until closing time. Unfortunately, there are only two A&W locations in the Inland Empire: 1930 Mentone Blvd. in Mentone and 72363 Baker Blvd. in Baker.
  • Wienerschnitzel: The world’s largest hot dog chain is serving up free root beer floats with any purchase. All you need to do is print out (or show on your mobile device) this coupon. Wienerschnitzel locations can be found throughout the Inland Empire.
  • Baker’s Drive-Thru: The Inland Empire-based chain has 99¢ root beer floats as its Deal of the Day today. Guests can purchase two root beer floats at that price. Baker’s locations can be found throughout the Inland Empire.
