Rancho Cucamonga…are you ready to party?

Mr. Baker Bakery and Café will celebrate its grand opening Thursday (August 11) with giveaways, raffle prizes and live music.

The event kicks off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5 p.m.

Guests will be treated to free pastries and coffee samples on Thursday, but the celebration lasts through Sunday, with discounts and visitors having a chance to win gift cards, free coffee for a year, free pastries for a year or a custom cake worth up to $400.

The bakery specializes in gourmet coffee, breakfast pastries, custom-designed cakes, fresh bread and cronuts.

Creating all that baked goodness is award-winning chef Newton Shin, formerly of Dolce Bistro and Bakery in Montclair.

The bakery’s regular hours are 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
