You’ve probably heard those food truck/movie mashup events in LA advertised on the radio. They sound like fun, right? Only problem is…you’re not in LA.
Well, this weekend you’re in luck! There’s one happening right here in the Inland Empire on Sunday (September 4)…and it’s free!
VantagePoint Church is hosting its fourth annual Eastvale Flicks & Food Trucks event from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Eleanor Roosevelt High School at 7447 Scholar Way in Eastvale.
They’ve scheduled 13 trucks — offering everything from hot dogs to lobster — for you to chow down before the as-yet-unnamed “blockbuster movie” begins at 7:30 p.m. (Pro tip: Send everyone to a different truck, then gather back together and share what you’ve bought.)

- Smoke ‘Em BBQ
- Tropical Shaved Ice
Oh, and did we mention it’s free? The money you would’ve spent on admission to one of those LA events (not to mention what you’d spend in gas getting there) will buy a couple of lobster corn dogs. Just sayin’.
