Indulge at McDonald’s this week and help sick kids and their families

If you haven’t yet been to McDonald’s to try one of its new Shamrock Chocolate beverages, now’s the time to go.

Through St. Patrick’s Day, Southern California McDonald’s will donate 25¢ from each purchase of its new McCafé Shamrock Chocolate beverages to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southern California.

The new beverages are:

  • Chocolate Shamrock Shake: Vanilla soft serve and chocolate flavored syrup under the original mint flavored Shamrock Shake. Topped off with green sprinkles, whipped topping, and a cherry.
  • Shamrock Chocolate Chip Frappé: Made with chocolate chips and a hint of coffee, and topped with green sprinkles, whipped topping, and chocolaty drizzle.
  • Shamrock Mocha: Hot coffee-and-chocolate beverage with mint flavor. Made with sustainably sourced espresso beans from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms, steamed whole or nonfat milk, mint and mocha flavored syrup, and topped with whipped topping and chocolaty drizzle.
  • Shamrock Hot Chocolate: Hot chocolate with mint flavor. Made with steamed whole or nonfat milk, mint and mocha flavored syrup, and topped with whipped topping and chocolaty drizzle.

In addition, on St. Patrick’s Day, customers at participating Southern California restaurants will be will be chosen at random to receive their meal for free, along with a complimentary Chocolate Shamrock Shake.

McDonald’s has been using the Shamrock Shake to help raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities since opening its first house in 1974
