Two chains have recently closed locations here in the Inland Empire: Joe’s Crab Shack in Rancho Cucamonga and Famous Dave’s in Temecula.
The Joe’s Crab Shack, 12327 Foothill Blvd., closed abruptly, catching employees and customers unaware. Reports are that the Rancho Cucamonga location was one of up to 40 locations that the company shuttered recently.
In total, 66 restaurants are still listed on the chain’s website, including the Rancho Cucamonga one. It was the only Inland Empire location.
The Temecula Famous Dave’s, 26478 Ynez Road, closed Tuesday (August 22). However, other Inland Empire locations — including Redlands, Rancho Cucamonga and Riverside — remain open.
