Until now, we’ve had none. Now we’re about to get two.

Long-planned Wayback Burgers locations are about to open just days apart from each other here in the Inland Empire.

The first to open will be in The Commons at Chino Hills, 4711 Chino Hills Parkway, Unit G.

The anticipated opening of the Chino Hills location is at 10:30 a.m. Saturday (October 7).

Following up on October 16 is the expected opening of the San Bernardino location in The Shops at University Park, 1725 W. Northpark Blvd., Unit A4.

Wayback’s short story, according to the chain’s Facebook page, is that they are “a fast casual burger joint serving fresh, never frozen beef patties, hand-dipped milkshakes and other items the Wayback way.”

The chain started in 1991 in Newark, Delaware, as Jake’s Hamburgers and currently has more than 120 locations in 27 states and four countries outside the United States.
