Dine out today and help fight AIDS

The annual AIDS service organization fundraiser Dining Out For Life is taking place today (April 26).

Here in the Inland Empire, proceeds will benefit Foothill AIDS Project and Desert AIDS Project.

The concept is simple: All you need to do is dine out today at select restaurants and a portion of your bill — or a set amount — will be donated to the designated organization.

This year, Townie Bagels | Bakery | Cafe in Palm Springs is donating all sales (plus an additional 10 percent!), while several other Palm Springs eateries — The Barn Kitchen at Sparrows LodgeHoliday House Palm SpringsRistretto For Coffee Lovers, and Rooster And The Pig — are donating all sales to Desert AIDS Project.

These are among the more than 60 Coachella Valley restaurants donating to Desert AIDS Project.

Participating eateries donating to Foothill AIDS Project include BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse locations in San Bernardino and Rancho Cucamonga, Nuno’s Bistro & Bar in Upland, Riverside Grill in Chino, Hamburger Mary’s in Ontario, House of Pong in Claremont, Mr. D’s Diner in Pomona, and Claremont Craft Ales.
