Two trucks are making their debut: 13 Ice Cream and Street Kitchen!

Street Kitchen is new to us, but we’ve long been fans of 13 Ice Cream’s delicious traditional — and non-traditional — ice creams.

What to expect? Besides the usual strawberry and cookies and cream flavors, how about spinach, kale or broccoli? No? How about marigold, saltine or garlic?

San Bernardino ranked as one of the worst cities for foodies — again

Here we go again.

Back in 2013, a real estate website, Movoto, compiled a list of “America’s Worst Cities for Food Lovers,” and San Bernardino landed at the top of the list.

Last week, it was WalletHub’s turn.

The personal finance website posted its list of “2016’s Best & Worst Foodie Cities,” and guess what?

Yep. San Bernardino loses again.

But … it’s not as bad as Fontana, apparently.

Eat burgers, help Special Olympics

You can enjoy a burger and pig out on unlimited fries, all while helping support Special Olympics tonight (October 20) in Redlands.

Red Robin, 27476 Lugonia Ave., is hosting a Tip-A-Cop event from 5 to 9 p.m. with Redlands police officers and personnel working alongside Red Robin staff to collect donations.

Super Pizza Hut debuts today in north San Bernardino

Super Pizza HutThe long-gestating Super Pizza Hut opens today (August 30) in north San Bernardino.

During a pre-opening military appreciation day on Sunday, I was able to take a peek at the new location.

I was told that the first-of-its-kind restaurant was the nation’s largest Pizza Hut, and I don’t doubt it.
