A trio of Inland Empire breweries are celebrating first anniversaries today (November 16).
From north to south, they are
Oak Hills Brewing Company in Hesperia, Redlands’ Ritual Brewing Co., and Wiens Brewing Company in Temecula.
It’s been a short while since we’ve updated you all on recent restaurant changes.
Here’s a few that readers have tipped us on and a couple we’ve discovered just driving around the Inland Empire.

Stout fans, call in sick* tomorrow (November 8) and head to
Hangar 24 Craft Brewery in Redlands.
That’s because they’ll have seven special stouts available for International Stout Day.
The brews will be available in half-pints, as well as a flight.
It was exactly one year ago today (November 1) that Ritual Brewing Co. opened its doors to the public.
The Redlands beer-maker will commemorate that milestone on Saturday, November 16, at the brewery,
1315 Research Drive.
The event will take place from 1 to 4:30 p.m.

The University of Redlands will celebrate its Homecoming today with, among other things…food trucks!
Four trucks (
Me So Hungry, Eat ‘Em Up Truck, Krave Fusion and Mustache Mike’s Italian Ice) are scheduled to serve from noon to 3 p.m. in the Grass Quad, 1200 E. Colton Ave., Redlands.
The trucks will be open to the general public.

You now have one more reason to make a Thursday night stop at
Hangar 24 Craft Brewery in Redlands, at least this month.
The from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursdays in October, the brewery is donating $1 of every pint sold to
Inland Women Fighting Cancer.
Plus, the brewery has been selling pink Hangar 24 T-shirts for $15, with 100% of proceeds going to IWFC.
Food vendors have also been pitching in and donating a portion of sales to IWFC.

Donkey Punch Brewing Co. opened its doors.
On Saturday (October 19),
Wild Donkey Brewing Co. will celebrate its first anniversary.
The event will begin at noon at the brewery,
2351 W. Lugonia Ave., Suite G, Redlands.
Hangar 24 Craft Brewery is once again hosting an Oktoberfest celebration at Sylvan Park (University Street and Colton Avenue) in Redlands.
This year, however, the festivities are stretching over two weekends.
Saturday (September 21), the brewery is going it alone, serving its own brews at the event, which will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Rheinlanders will perform.
Tickets are just $5 at the door, and proceeds, as in past years, will benefit the
Redlands Optimist Club.
The following Saturday’s (September 28) Oktoberfest will also include a Beerfest, when Hangar 24 will be joined by 33 other breweries and cider makers, including 15 from the Inland Empire.
Food trucks will once again be part of the celebration at this year’s Rah Rah Redlands.
The annual tailgate party, sponsored by the University of Redlands Town & Gown and Bulldog Athletics, begins at 3 p.m. Saturday (September 7) at the university’s Ted Runner Stadium.
The event includes an open swim at the Thompson Aquatic Center from 3 to 5 p.m., food trucks from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., family activities beginning at 4:30 p.m. and at 7 p.m., the Bulldog football team’s first home game of the season.
