Share Italian with the Let’s Dine Out crew

Reservations are now being taken for the latest Let’s Dine Out Show Grub Club event.

Allen Borgen and crew will host diners at Domenico’s Italian Kitchen, 890 Oak Valley Parkway in Beaumont. The event is scheduled to take place from 4 to 7 p.m. March 8.

Participants will sample 14 different dishes, including four different pizzas. Cost is $42 per person, which includes tax, tip and a non-alcoholic beverage.

Food trucks, free concert in Beaumont tomorrow

Pardee Homes’ Sundance community is celebrating its tenth anniversary tomorrow with a celebration that will include a bluegrass concert and a trio of food trucks.

The free event runs from 4 to 7 p.m. at Wildflower Park, 1287 Tulip Circle West, Beaumont.

The band is the Mill Creek Boys, which, judging by their Facebook profile picture, includes at least one girl. Ironic, huh?

Scheduled food trucks are Slummin’ Gourmet, Eat ‘Em Up Truck and Kona Ice.

VFW fundraiser at Beaumont Chili’s today

The Beaumont Chili’s, 1490 E. Second St., is helping raise funds for the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 233, and you can pitch in.

All you have to do is download and print this flyer and head to the Beaumont Chili’s to eat. Be sure to present the flyer when you order.

The Beaumont Chili’s will donate 15% of your bill to VFW Post 233 when you do.

The fundraiser runs from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. today (June 6).

Breakfast burritos in Beaumont

From 8 to 11 a.m. Tuesday (November 8), the Beaumont Police Department will host a breakfast burrito fundraiser at the Beaumont Civic Center, 550 E. Sixth St.

Burrito tickets are $4 each and advance tickets are available for purchase at the Police Department.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Adopt-a-Cop program, which assigns one police officer to each school in the Beaumont Unified School District.

Officers volunteer their time at the designated school and interact with the children through hands-on activities, mentoring and behind-the-scenes field trips.

The program also rewards students with perfect attendance with an all-expense paid field trip to an Angels baseball game.
