Corona-based Miguel’s and Miguel’s Jr. are kicking off the chains’ 45th anniversary celebration by rededicating the Citrus Park Splash Zone — and giving away free burritos — tomorrow (June 7).

The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Citrus Park Splash Zone, 1250 Santana Way, Corona.

The Splash Zone, by the way, was made possible thanks to a generous donation by Miguel’s Restaurant owners Mike and Mary Vasquez in 2008.

During the event, the Vasquez family will unveil recent renovations and present a rededication to the City of Corona.

The first 300 guests in attendance will receive a free BRC (beans, rice and cheese) burrito from Miguel’s Jr.’s new food truck.
