Not only can you get free Pizza Bitz at three Inland Empire Wetzel’s Pretzels locations today, social media fans of Blaze Pizza (founded by Wetzel’s Pretzels co-founder Rick Wetzel and his wife Elise) can get a free pizza today at the chain’s new location in Eastvale.
September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, and Corky’s Homestyle Kitchen and Bakery has cooked up a sweet fundraiser.
Corky’s will donate $1 from each sale of its Gold Cancer Awareness Ribbon cookies this month to Loma Linda Children’s Hospital.
In addition, the restaurant will donate 25¢ from the sales of all other cookies.
VantagePoint Church is sponsoring a free event in Eastvale tonight (September 1) that mixes food trucks, a family-friendly movie and other family activities.
The “Flicks and Food Trucks” event kicks off at 5:30 p.m. and runs until 9 p.m. at Eleanor Roosevelt High School, 7557 Scholar Way. The as-yet-unnamed movie begins at 7:30 p.m. on a 32-foot outdoor screen.
Quite a few trucks are scheduled to serve at the event. Head over the jump for a list.
I drove by again on Friday and discovered that the 24-hour restaurant was open!
Then, I spotted on the Corky’s website that a fourth Inland Empire location is planned for Corona, at 3811 Bedford Canyon Road, Suites A8-A11.
The Eastvale Corky’s, which joins locations in Rialto and Rancho Cucamonga, is at 12552 Limonite Ave, Suite 130.
There’s also a non-I.E. location in Ladera Ranch.
Included in a press release listing several recent commercial real estate transactions was this little tidbit:
EASTVALE, CA – David Wick and Brandon Beauchemin of NAI Capital’s Ontario office represented the lessee, Overeasy, Inc., DBA Corky’s Kitchen and Bakery in the lease of a 4,393 square foot retail property located at 12552 Limonite Avenue, Suite 130, Eastvale from WLPX Eastvale, LLC. Corky’s Kitchen and Bakery anticipates a Fall 2011 Grand Opening. Value and terms of the lease were not disclosed.
That’s right, Eastvalians, Corky’s Kitchen and Bakery is headed your way, but you’ll likely have to wait until this fall to get your 24/7 dose of Hobo skillets and Messina burgers.
Until then, the Rancho Cucamonga and Rialto locations are just a short drive up the 15 and down either direction on the 210. Road trip!
