Pechanga Food Truck Festival returns Saturday

If you were at the first one, you know.

It was massive.

The event sold out, as did many of the trucks about halfway through the event.

This go-round is expected to go a little smoother, with even more trucks ready to feed the hungry masses.

Not only are the usual trucks from Los Angeles and Orange counties going to be on hand, but, as last time, a good number of trucks from San Diego, and even a handful from Las Vegas will be at the event.

You might even spot a few Inland Empire trucks as well, including Pearson’s Catfish and our friends from Suite 106 Cupcakery.

The festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday (October 6) at Pechanga Resort and Casino, 4500 Pechanga Parkway, Temecula.

Tickets are $10 and are available in advance here.

Follow the jump to see the 53 (yes, 53!) currently scheduled trucks.

Tip-A-Cop next week at Claim Jumper

Claim Jumper is hosting a Tip-A-Cop fundraiser for Special Olympics from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday (April 14).

The premise is simple: Police personnel help out the wait staff and in return, get tipped by guests.

The tips are donated to charity.

I’ve been to several of these Tip-A-Cop events in the past and, although there always seems to be a bit of confusion, they’re usually a lot of fun.

Claim Jumper has an Inland Empire presence in Rancho Cucamonga (12499 Foothill Blvd.), San Bernardino (1905 Commercenter East), Temecula and Corona.
