The “made-on-demand” pizza chain will donate $1 of each MOD-size pizza sold this week to a selected organization.
Here we go again.
Last week, it was WalletHub’s turn.
The personal finance website posted its list of “2016’s Best & Worst Foodie Cities,” and guess what?
Yep. San Bernardino loses again.
But … it’s not as bad as Fontana, apparently.
MOD Pizza is opening its second Inland Empire location on Saturday (March 12).
The quick-serve pizzeria, which currently has a location in the Mountain Grove shopping center near Redlands, will open at 16391 Sierra Lakes Parkway in Fontana.
It’s Sundowners Family Restaurants’ 34th anniversary today (November 28), and the small, local chain is celebrating by offering a top sirloin steak dinner for just 1¢ — with the purchase of a top sirloin steak dinner for $7.99.
The dinners include Sundowner toast and a choice of baked potato, fried rice, French fries or mashed potatoes and gravy.
Where else but Sundowners can you get two steak dinners at the insanely cheap price at $8?
The new place — which had its grand opening on Saturday — looks amazing!
It’s truly a family affair, as the owners’ niece, who operates designstiles, created the look.
Yes, corn ice cream is a thing. So is avocado ice cream. Spinach, too.
And thanks to KTLA’s Chris Burrous — who brought Fontana’s 13 Ice Cream onto our radar when he mentioned that he recently filmed a segment there — we’ve tried them all.
September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, and Corky’s Homestyle Kitchen and Bakery has cooked up a sweet fundraiser.
Corky’s will donate $1 from each sale of its Gold Cancer Awareness Ribbon cookies this month to Loma Linda Children’s Hospital.
In addition, the restaurant will donate 25¢ from the sales of all other cookies.
