Deux Company food truck, San Bernardino County is getting another new food truck. However, this one we knew about in advance.
That’s because it’s from our friends at
13 Ice Cream in Fontana.
A newcomer to the Inland Empire,
Pancheros Mexican Grill, has opened in Fontana.
The Chipotle-style chain opened Tuesday (March 15) at
16421 Sierra Lakes Parkway, Suite 300, in Fontana, just down from the newly-opened MOD Pizza.
MOD Pizza is opening its second Inland Empire location on Saturday (March 12).
The quick-serve pizzeria, which currently has a location
in the Mountain Grove shopping center near Redlands, will open at 16391 Sierra Lakes Parkway in Fontana.
It’s Sundowners Family Restaurants’ 34th anniversary today (November 28), and the small, local chain is celebrating by offering a top sirloin steak dinner for just 1¢ — with the purchase of a top sirloin steak dinner for $7.99.
The dinners include Sundowner toast and a choice of baked potato, fried rice, French fries or mashed potatoes and gravy.
Where else but Sundowners can you get
two steak dinners at the insanely cheap price at $8?
Fontana’s Tio’s Mexican Grill, 16953 Sierra Lakes Parkway, just went upscale with the addition of Tio’s Grille & Cantina next door.
The new place — which had its grand opening on Saturday — looks amazing!
It’s truly a family affair, as the owners’ niece, who operates
designstiles, created the look.

September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, and Corky’s Homestyle Kitchen and Bakery has cooked up a sweet fundraiser.
Corky’s will donate $1 from each sale of its Gold Cancer Awareness Ribbon cookies this month to Loma Linda Children’s Hospital.
In addition, the restaurant will donate 25¢ from the sales of all other cookies.
Another sandwich chain is landing in the Inland Empire.
Jimmy John’s, which has locations in 40 states (and a half-dozen in Los Angeles and Orange counties), is set to open a new shop Tuesday (August 26) in Fontana.
The new location is at
16155 Sierra Lakes Parkway, Suite 110, formerly a Quiznos.
Another location is in progress in La Verne at
2320 Foothill Blvd., Suite C.
Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt has opened a new location in north Fontana, 16645 Sierra Lakes Parkway, Unit 100, and will be celebrating with a weeklong grand opening event.
The event kicks off Saturday (February 15) with free 8-ounce cups of frozen yogurt from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Also happening during the grand-opening event will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Menchie, T-shirt and other Menchie merchandise giveaways and other family-friendly activities.
