The pizzeria opens Thursday (June 11) and is giving away a free pizza on Friday (June 12) to followers of its social media feeds on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. And, no, you won’t get three free pizzas for following on all three.
I’ve been able to attend both previous events and have enjoyed myself immensely. The 21-and-older event showcases restaurants located both at Victoria Gardens and in the surrounding area.
New this year is Blaze Pizza, which happens to be opening at Victoria Gardens the same day.
As we’ve stated before, we’re big fans of free here at Dine 909.
Wetzel’s Pretzels is returning to Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, and the location will celebrate by giving away pretzels all day tomorrow (April 23).
You read that right: Free Wetzel’s Pretzels!
The new/old location — which is celebrating its grand opening Friday and Saturday — can be found at 12521 North Main St., next door to the California Pizza Kitchen.
September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, and Corky’s Homestyle Kitchen and Bakery has cooked up a sweet fundraiser.
Corky’s will donate $1 from each sale of its Gold Cancer Awareness Ribbon cookies this month to Loma Linda Children’s Hospital.
In addition, the restaurant will donate 25¢ from the sales of all other cookies.
The Rancho Cucamonga Pieology had its first anniversary yesterday (September 1), and the pizzeria celebrated by uploading a clever video reinterpretation of the song “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” from the movie “Frozen.”
You can watch it below.
If you want to visit the restaurant, it’s at 8158 Day Creek Blvd., Suite 120.
Don’t expect them to break into song, however.
Donors receive a free sundae, and will be entered into a drawing for a Farrell’s birthday party for a group of 10.
Heck, that’s way better than orange juice and cookies!
[N7] Creamery has been open for a little while now, but the bakery/coffeehouse/liquid nitrogen ice cream shop is celebrating its grand opening this weekend.
In fact, the festivities have already begun.
An art walk is going on until 10 p.m. tonight (July 11). More than a dozen artists are participating in the event.
The Rancho Cucamonga Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour Restaurant is hosting a fundraiser today (June 30) for the family of San Bernardino Police Officer Shaun Jarvis.
Jarvis was killed in an off-duty motorcycle accident on the 91 Freeway in Corona back in May.
To participate, simply print out the flier (at right) and bring it to the restaurant, 10742 Foothill Blvd., between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m., and Farrell’s will donate 25% of your bill to the cause.
A great fundraiser and culinary event is returning to Rancho Cucamonga’s Victoria Gardens on Thursday (June 26).
The second annual Tour de Fork will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. along the center’s South Mainstreet.
Tickets ($42-$52) include unlimited food tastings and five beverage tastings. A full 100% of ticket sales will benefit your choice of three local charities: The Rancho Cucamonga Community and Arts Foundation, the Rancho Cucamonga Library Foundation or Rancho Cucamonga Animal Care and Services.
