Daily Bulletin columnist David Allen recently told me that the Rancho Cucamonga Indian restaurant Haandi had closed.
The news was a little surprising, since the restaurant was well-regarded, and even was voted the Inland Valley’s best Indian cuisine several years in a row.
In its place is Grill 8, which, according to its logo, specializes in beer, burgers and wings.
A new juice bar has opened in Rancho Cucamonga.
Brio Tuscan Grille is getting a jump on National Lasagna Day, which is Saturday (July 29), by offering half off its lasagna entreés a couple of days early.
All day Thursday (July 27), the chain will be taking 50% off its lasagna dishes.
The long journey to open Rancho Cucamonga’s first Dog Haus has finally come to an end.
The Victoria Gardens Dog Haus Biergarten opens today (July 7).
We’ve mentioned before that one of our favorite Inland Empire food events is the Tour de Fork at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga.
Last year, the event sold out rather quickly, but this year, if you’re interested in going, you’re in luck.
That’s because tickets are still available for the event, which is set for 5:30 to 8 p.m. June 29 along the center’s North Mainstreet.

Punch Bowl Social officially opens its first California location — and ninth overall — today (May 20) at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, in the space most recently occupied by Toby Keith’s I ♥ This Bar and Grill, 12635 N. Main St.
