Congratulations to our friends from
Pine Haven Cafe and Catering, who are celebrating the cafe’s two-year anniversary.
However, it’s the cafe’s guests who are getting the presents as the restaurant is giving away a free short stack of pancakes to all from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday (May 17).
A Hawaiian pizza is the latest weapon in the fight against cystic fibrosis.
The pie, a creation of a 10-year-old named Harry, is made with red sauce, mozzarella, ham, pineapple and cilantro.
You see, Harry’s friend, Morgan Johnson, 12, is battling the disease.
Pieology Pizzeria is using Harry’s pizza to raise funds to help his friend and other folks in the same situation.
Through June 1, Pieology is donating 15% of all sales of Mo Jo’s Hawaiian Pizza to the
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
We’ve been tracking the progress of several new eateries in Upland’s Colonies Crossroads, with Panera Bread, Pick Up Stix and Chipotle opening in recent months.
The latest is just about to open.
The Inland Empire’s newest
Habit Burger Grill will officially open to the public at 10:30 a.m. on April 2, but the restaurant will host three fundraisers before that date.
Not all the new eateries are moving into the new, eastern section of Upland’s Colonies Crossroads.
Coming soon to the former
Taco Factory spot in the older, northern section at 1945 N. Campus Ave., Suite C, is Souvlla Greek Grill.
The restaurant is hiring.
For those who were waiting, the
Chipotle at Upland’s Crossroads Colonies has opened.
Thursday’s (February 13) opening followed the
recently– opened Panera Bread and Pick Up Stix.
Next on the list:
The Habit Burger Grill.
They may have virtually disappeared here in the Inland Empire, but that doesn’t stop Qdoba Mexican Grill from sharing some love with its fans.
On Valentine’s Day, anyone willing to give a kiss to a significant other, a friend or a friendly stranger will receive a free entrée when they purchase of any queso entrée.
Couldn’t be any simpler, or more fun.
The sole remaining Inland Empire Qdoba is at
1902 N. Campus Ave.
Pick Up Stix isn’t the only one gearing up to open in the new section of Upland’s Colonies Crossroads.
Chipotle is also interviewing prospective employees this week.
It appears that Pick Up Stix may be the next restaurant to has joined Panera Bread in the new section of the Colonies Crossroads in Upland.
The chain is looking for experienced cooks and cashiers.
Open interviews will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. tomorrow (January 23) at the new location,
1053 E. 19th St., Suite B.
