A moment of silence, please.
Jason’s Deli has closed.
We were big fans of the restaurant, and appreciated its strive to use ingredients free of high-fructose corn syrup and artificial flavors and colors. Oh, and the free ice cream. In fact, we
even named it a Dine 909 favorite.
However, I can’t help but feel that the location was doomed from the start.

The new location,
9359 Central Ave., Suite B, is hosting a fundraiser through May 27.
The sandwich shop distributed thousands of fliers with various offers and will donate $3 for each offer redeemed. Recipients are the
Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles and the American Youth Soccer Organization.

The Brick Market & Deli in Pomona — no stranger to hosting fundraisers — will have a multi-day fundraiser next week for Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare.
The fundraiser will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday (March 23) through Friday (March 25).
