Pomona’s The Brick Market and Deli is hosting a fundraiser for Bright Prospect from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight (October 28).
Bright Prospect is an organization which has a goal is to increase college-going rates among underserved populations across the nation.
To participate, simply print this flier and present it when you order and the Brick will donate 20% of your bill to Bright Prospect.

Well, here’s a way you can have a delicious meal while helping give support for victims of sexual assault and child abuse.
Pomona’s The Brick Market and Deli is hosting a fundraiser for Project Sister Family Services , an organization that provides sexual assault and child abuse crisis prevention education and intervention programs, between 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. tomorrow (September 18).
Another sandwich chain is landing in the Inland Empire.
Jimmy John’s, which has locations in 40 states (and a half-dozen in Los Angeles and Orange counties), is set to open a new shop Tuesday (August 26) in Fontana.
The new location is at 16155 Sierra Lakes Parkway, Suite 110, formerly a Quiznos.
Another location is in progress in La Verne at 2320 Foothill Blvd., Suite C.

The folks at The Brick Market and Deli in Pomona are hosting a National Sandwich Month celebration from noon to 2 p.m.today (August 20).
There will be giveaways from Jack FM and the first 20 guests will receive a coupon for a free chicken shawarma sandwich on their next visit.

The Inland Empire’s newest Jersey Mike’s Subs opened yesterday (June 11).
The sandwich shop has moved into the former Quiznos at 9659 Milliken Ave., #102, Rancho Cucamonga. It’s is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
The location has distributed 3,000 coupons good for a free regular sub for a minimum $1 contribution to Foothill Family Shelter, Rancho Cucamonga Community Services, or Living the Dream Foundation. Customers must have a coupon to get the deal, which is good through Sunday (June 15).
Locations in Fontana and Menifee are also in the works.

Jersey Mike’s Subs’ Month of Giving has begun!
All this month, the sandwich shop will be collecting donations for various charities.
Here in the Inland Empire, the chain is again pairing with Steven’s Hope for Children, an organization that provides housing and other essentials for families with seriously ill or injured kids.
In the rest of the L.A. basin, the beneficiary is the Talbert Family Foundation, a group that provides financial support for families of sick kids.
It’s a market.
No, it’s a deli.
It’s both!
The Brick Market and Deli recently opened at 105 E. Arrow Highway (at Garey Avenue) in Pomona.
The Brick will be celebrating its grand opening Saturday (March 1) and will be holding a drawing for a Sony Blu-Ray player.

Rocky’s Roadhouse, 32150 Hilltop Blvd., Running Springs, will be hosting a grand opening and silent auction from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday (April 28).
All proceeds will benefit to the Running Springs Branch Library.
Deals at the deli’s event include a Boar’s Head beef hot dog, fries and a drink for only $3.
Porsche Boxster race car drivers Eric Oviatt and Regan Steedman will make an appearance and will bring their race cars along!
Silent auction items include an oak trunk and gift basket, and a one-on-one race lesson with Eric Oviatt.
