Food truck double whammy in Menifee, Murrieta tomorrow

If you’re looking to get your food truck fix, you might want to head to southern Riverside County tomorrow (October 13).

Both Menifee and Murrieta are hosting food truck events that day.

Menifee’s fourth birthday celebration begins with the Motor Madness car show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by the city birthday bash (featuring gourmet food trucks) from 4 to 9 p.m., both at Mt. San Jacinto College’s Menifee campus, 28237 La Piedra Road.

Both events are free.

Prior to the event there will be a pancake breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m., and the first Taste of Menifee will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., with five tastes available for $5.

The Murrieta Community Services Department is hosting the Murrieta Food Truck Fest Fundraiser from noon to 5 p.m. at Town Square Park, 11 Town Square.

Tickets are $8 in advance here and will be $10 at the gate. A family four-pack is $25 and is also available in advance. Kids five and under are admitted free.

However, if you plan on waiting until the day of the event, you can get two tickets for the price of one at the door by printing out the voucher that’s available here.

The event will also feature live music, kids’ entertainment and a beer garden hosted by Brew-Ligion. (Note to self: Another Inland Empire brewery!)

Head over the jump to see a list of scheduled trucks.
