This one kind of snuck up on me this year.
Today (April 26) is the day for Dining Out for Life. Proceeds go to various AIDS/HIV support organizations.
The bad news is that the only Inland Empire restaurants participating are in the Palm Springs area. The good news is that there are 45 restaurants to choose from.
Most are giving 33% of their sales.
Nine are giving 50%:
Spencer's Restaurant is giving a whopping 75%!
All proceeds will benefit Desert AIDS Project.

If you happen to live near (or are willing to take a drive to) Cathedral City and want to help out the AIDS Assistance Program, then mark your calendar for Monday (May 2).
From 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, the Cathedral City Sizzler at 31875 Date Palm Drive will celebrate its grand re-opening and will be donating all its sales during that time to the charity.
The restaurant, which was formerly owned by a franchisee, closed in December 2009. It is re-opening as a company-owned restaurant.
Kudos to the Cathedral City Sizzler for their generosity!
