The brewery will also be rolling out its third anniversary beer, a barrel-aged barleywine.

Officially, tickets are $45 for general admission and $55 for V.I.P., and just mention this poster and the tickets drop by $10 each. Area locations are giving military families a free meal tomorrow night (May 22).

The restaurant’s third annual Military Appreciation Night will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at all 52 Southern California locations.

The free meal invitation goes out to active military personnel and those who have honorably served, as well as their immediate family members.

When a military I.D. or proof of service is presented, guests can choose from an original Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich meal, Chick-fil-A spicy chicken sandwich meal or a four-count Chick-fil-A Nuggets kid’s meal.

The offer is valid for dine-in only.

Military Appreciation Night, presented by Navy Federal Credit Union in celebration of Military Appreciation Month, will also include family-friendly activities and entertainment for guests at each restaurant.

More than 28,500 meals were provided to military families in the previous two years, combined.

Not only are there some delicious food trucks scheduled at the Hangar 24 AirFest and fifth anniversary, but there will be a (dare I say better?) selection of trucks at the Redlands Optimists’ annual Car Show and Chili Cook-off.

Held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Sylvan Park, University Street and Colton Avenue, your suggested $5 admission donation will benefit the Optimists’ charitable work with children.

Today I got my invitation, so I quickly checked it out.

While going through the tour of the new web app, I decided to search for “Breweries, San Bernardino County,” since I’ve been working on a map of Southern California breweries for our sister blog, Beer Goggles.

While searching, I found a new brewery…thank you Google Maps!

While not technically in the Inland Empire, we occasionally do cover events in La Verne, and the La Verne Brewing Co. appears to have opened up just shy of a month ago.

The brewery currently has four beers on tap, with an IPA in the wings. Also coming is tapping of a small batch keg Fridays beginning in June.

La Verne Brewing Co. is at 2125 Wright Ave., #C-15, La Verne, near the Auto Club Raceway and Brackett Field.

The tasting room is open 4 to 8:30 p.m. Fridays and noon to 8 p.m. Saturdays. Eventually the tasting room will also be open from 4 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays.

Well, it didn’t take long for them to get here.

I visited the West Covina location tonight and saw a sticker in the window advertising that the beverage/pastry/bread shop was hiring for its Chino Hills location.

Hooray!

The chain is looking for energetic and friendly folks with excellent work ethics, strong communication skills and a willing-to-learn attitude.

Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Openings include management positions and store and kitchen staff.
