In celebration of the launch of two new variations of its iconic Big Mac hamburger, McDonald’s will give away 10,000 bottles of Big Mac Special Sauce today (January 26).
Here in Southern California, 300 bottles will be given away from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. (or until supplies last) at the McDonald’s at 201 W. Washington Blvd. in Los Angeles.

The Upland Chamber of Commerce is hosting the Taste of the Inland Empire from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday (January 27) at the DoubleTree by Hilton Claremont, 555 W. Foothill Blvd.

As if you needed an excuse to check out Claremont’s restaurant scene, Claremont Restaurant Week begins today (January 16).
The event works as it has in the past: Some participating restaurants are offering prix fixe meal specials, while others are showcasing customer favorite dishes, seasonal specials, and housemade desserts, all as a way to attract folks from across Southern California to dine in the city.

It appears someone has turned the tables on us.
While we were patiently waiting for Dog Haus to open its third Inland Empire location at 11144 E. Foothill Blvd., Suite 130, in Rancho Cucamonga, zpizza quietly moved into the spot.
Although the specific page from Dog Haus’ website regarding the Rancho Cucamonga site no longer exists, the location (complete with address) is still on Dog Haus’ locations page as “coming soon.”
However, there’s no more room at that address for another eatery. Zpizza — which opens Friday (December 23) — filled the final vacancy.
