For a limited time, the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has added a latte macchiato to its beverage lineup.
For the next three Mondays (January 13, 20 and 27), guests can try a small latte macchiato for just $2.
Flavor choices are caramel, vanilla bean and dark chocolate.
Redlands’ Hangar 24 Craft Brewery will celebrate its barrel-aged brews during its second annual Pugachev’s Barrel-Aged Beer Festival on Saturday (December 7).
You can call it the Pugafest for short.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the brewery. However, those who have achieved bronze level or higher in the brewery’s Frequent Flyer loyalty program can begin sampling at 10 a.m.
Cost is $25 for eight samples. Beer lovers will have 24 different barrel-aged beers from which to choose.
Another brewery — La Quinta Brewing Co. — has opened in the Coachella Valley.
You can currently find the brewery’s beers at dozens of area locations, and the tasting room has been open for about a week now, but the brewery will be celebrating its grand opening on Friday (November 22).
The event kicks off at 4 p.m. and is scheduled to last ’til 8 p.m. Guests will get 20% off beer and merchandise.
We had a blast at last year’s Palm Springs Props and Hops at the Palm Springs Air Museum, and this year’s edition is happening Saturday (November 23).
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the museum, 745 N. Gene Autry Trail, Palm Springs.

Reservations are now being taken for a special five-course holiday beer-pairing dinner at BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse locations throughout the Inland Empire.
The dinners will take place beginning next Monday (November 25).
Price is $30 per person, and obviously, you’ve gotta be 21 or older to participate.
A trio of Inland Empire breweries are celebrating first anniversaries today (November 16).
From north to south, they are Oak Hills Brewing Company in Hesperia, Redlands’ Ritual Brewing Co., and Wiens Brewing Company in Temecula.
Upland’s Dale Bros. Brewery is teaming up with Ontario’s Drake Family Farms for a beer and cheese pairing event this Saturday (November 16).
For $13, participants will get a full cheese plate, plus a beer flight.
The pairing event runs from 2 to 5 p.m. at the brewery, 2120 Porterfield Way.

Stout fans, call in sick* tomorrow (November 8) and head to Hangar 24 Craft Brewery in Redlands.
That’s because they’ll have seven special stouts available for International Stout Day.
The brews will be available in half-pints, as well as a flight.

The March Aviation Society is hosting its first brew fest Saturday, November 9, at the March Field Air Museum.
Attendees will be able to sample from more than a dozen Inland Empire breweries (and a few others) at the event.
You gotta have food to soak up all that beer, so the organizers have scheduled nine food trucks for your dining pleasure.
General admission tickets are $35 (plus a $2.92 service fee if purchased online) and grant you admission from 1 to 5 p.m., live entertainment by the ’80z All-Stars and DJ Steveo, and 15 four-ounce beer samples.
