The new pizzeria is in
Riverside Plaza, at 3540 Riverside Plaza Drive, Suite 328.
Tomorrow (June 6) is National Doughnut Day is tomorrow, an event begun during the Great Depression by the
Salvation Army as a way to raise funds and bring awareness to the organization’s social service programs.
It also commemorates the “doughnut lassies,” female Salvation Army volunteers who provided writing supplies, stamps, clothes-mending and home-cooked meals, and of course, doughnuts, for soldiers on the front lines, initially during World War I.
Congratulations to our friends from
Pine Haven Cafe and Catering, who are celebrating the cafe’s two-year anniversary.
However, it’s the cafe’s guests who are getting the presents as the restaurant is giving away a free short stack of pancakes to all from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday (May 17).
Taco Bell‘s foray into breakfast has rattled a few fast food cages.
McDonald’s quick response was to offer a free small coffee during breakfast hours for two weeks.
The promotion began Monday (March 31) and runs through April 13.
It’s no April Fool’s joke.
Panda Express is offering a coupon for a free single serving of Golden Szechuan Fish with any purchase today (April 1).

From noon to 6 p.m., the Rancho Cucamonga
Chronic Tacos, 11920 E. Foothill Blvd., Suite 150, will celebrate its recent remodel and expansion.
The event is also a fundraiser, as the location will donate 15% of sales to the
