Bicyclists vs. residents issue could be hot topic

Look for a hot meeting at the 6:30 p.m. Thursday meeting of the Parking and Transportation Commission featuring bikers and residents who apparently aren't getting along too well near Beverly Boulevard and Turnbull Canyon Road.

The bikers -- residents say -- come up early on weekends, take parking spots and make too much noise because they go up there to ride in the Whittier hills.
City officials took a survey to see what the neighborhood thinks and are expected to present the results Thursday.

Bicyclists VS Residents?

And what if bicyclists ARE residents?

More accurately described might be: cranky neighbors vs everyone.

There is PLENTY of space between the last home and the trailhead(s). Just organize it better. A lot of these folks generate Uptown revenue.
