This is the link to a story that ran in today’s New York Daily News. He doesn’t really say much that we don’t already know, but it’s an interesting read anyway, coming in the wake of his estranged wife’s arrest last week for disorderly conduct and public intoxication. And that HAS to be one of the greatest arrest photos of all time, right up there with Nick Nolte and Glen Campbell. But then, I shouldn’t mock the situation. Don seemed like a really good guy the one time I met him, as did Preston the one or two times I spoke with him. Here’s hoping this all gets resolved in a positive way for all parties involved. And here’s hoping that Don can eventually rejoin the Dodgers coaching staff, possibly next season. Thanks to Alan B. for alerting me to this.
