I know he sees Andruw Jones hitting well in BP, but he's also hitting a league worst .038 w/ RISP. That's simply absurdly bad. I can see the theory that we "need" Jones' bat to get going to have a chance at making the playoffs, but does throwing games away NOW not hurt the team's chances?
I really feel for Andre Ethier. Not sure what more the guy can do.
