Something new and different

| | Comments (5) |

My first time at Comerica Park since the 2005 All-Star Game, and before that, I was here with the Reds for a three-game series in 2000, the year it opened. Nice to see some different scenery for a change, and this is the Dodgers' only interleague road series this year other than the one in Anaheim. I'll try to post a photo later tonight. It's gray and overcast, and there is a chance of rain, but I'm told they have a good drainage system here -- most of the new parks do -- so there is very little chance of not getting the game in. ... No news so far, at least not that I'm aware of.

tony, i have nowhere to turn. i just got fired from my job and i am going into depression. i am seriously pondering suicide. this injury to raffy is so devestating. this guy is my life and makes my summer. there is NOTHING Like waking up and knowing that raffy has gone 3-4 with 2 runs. NOTHING!

I really need an update on this guy because 2 days ago i had a nervous breakdown and got fired from my job largely because of the injury to raffy and the play of the dodgers!

i can't take it anymore, i have waited 20 years and have gotten nothing in return! i get crushed EVERY YEAR after long anticipating a great season and getting this! i just want to be dead!

i'm really lost right now. i have no faith in anything anymore after the raffy injury and the dodgers play. i don't know what to do. and what hurts the most is that i am now jobless.

Yes it is very hard with Furcal on the DL. The Dodgers need to get better at bringing in runs. You can make the argument that maybe they should trade Kent and Kemp for two productive veterans. I would simply trade Kent because he is often injured and I don't seem him as a Leader on the team. They can trade Kemp anywhere and they'll get value in return.
