Roster moves: Sweeney to DL, Repko to Vegas
So I had the players right in my prediction, but I was wrong about Sweeney being DFA'd. Turns out, he has had a strained right hamstring for the past three or four weeks. Sweeney says it isn't the reason he is hitting .094. Torre says it is. At any rate, the Dodgers were able to activate Nomar and Andruw, both of whom are in the starting lineup, without losing a player from the organizational inventory.
Here's the lineup, but it's subject to change if Kent is scratched with the back thing

This lineup sucks. Loney has only been killing the ball and then the China Doll and Fat Ass get put in front of him. Makes perfect sense.

Jones 2 AB 2 Punchouts ( not even a foul ball) looks like the same mechanical problem with back leg collapsing.4 LOB-maybe they operated on the wrong knee. He needs more re-hab swings in Jax since the new standard is to drop a player 2 levels.
The other part of this $33mm investment Jason Schmidt went 2.1 last night and got lit up....
LaRoche looks lost at 3B.. even though DeWitt is lefty he still manages to get big RBI so ,maybe it is time to throw the "Book" away. Half
It is not early they are now operating on the back 9.
It is very refreshing to watching Ethier have a great game and know he won't get benched for Pierre tomorrow.
Nice to see some offense once again from the Shortstop position. Even if we have to hold our breath as he runs down the line.
LaRoche just gave the Dodgers a HUGE insurance run with a HR.

LaRoche hasn't been given a fair chance at all the last two seasons. He has been by far the most misused prospect for the Dodgers in the last two season. Now there is talk about trading him for C.C. Sabathia. Just what we need another pitcher...
And Tony you weren't wrong about Sweeney...Ned was.

LaRoche has 2 HR in 33 AB.
DeWitt has 5 HR in 242 AB.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who has more power.
And despite Andy's .212 average, he still has a .758 OPS, which is a FAR superior stat to judge offensive performance.
Got me again Marcel so using your math ..with AL 2 Rbi in 34 AB that works out to app 16 vs DeWitt 34... Isn't one of the issues with the ballclub run production?
Coach, I'm sure you understand guys need to be on base in order for LaRoche, DeWitt, or anyone else to knock them in.
