Saito's simulated game appears to have gone well
That's the way it looked from up here, anyway. ... Another perfect day in San Diego (is there any other kind of day in San Diego?). Ran into Manny Ramirez and Pablo Ozuna at the Westfield Horton Plaza today. No one seemed to be bothering them, although they were leaving when I saw them, so I'm not sure their entire shopping experience went unimpeded. ... Snakes are down a run to the Giants in the eighth inning. If that holds up, the Dodgers' magic number will be shaved to 15 before they even take the field. ... Brad Penny expected to be activated today.

D'backs led 3-2 going into the bottom of the 9th. A base hit, a walk, and a double later, Giants won 4-3. Thank you Brandon Lyons.
Giants comeback in the 9th again after Brian Wilson blew another save. I hate rooting for the Giants, and now I only have to root for them 4 more times (Mon-Thur next week @ ARI).
Tony, what are the chances the Dodgers skip Kershaw's turn in Colorado? That seems like a really bad, pointless idea -- to have him pitch there. Give him a rest, don't you think? Let some of the other guys take that start by committee. Anyway, let us know if you hear anything on that.
Phillips i was also thinking that maybe Park or Kuo but i doubt it Kershaw is going to start as scheduled i think
Hey Tony, I read that Furcal was supposed to bat in the simulated game. Did he? and if so how did he look?
THH -- you don't have to root for the Giants to WIN, just root for the D'backs to LOSE. ;-)
