Dodgers agree to terms with Will Ohman

Don’t have particulars, but trying to run it all down now. Not sure what this means for Shawn Estes, but will find that out as well.

Great news! Thanks for the update.

Did the site turn blue or is it just my computer? Making it amazingly difficult to read.

  • GScott

Blue is gone now…weird. Anyway, I guess Ohman is a good signing? I just assumed by Mazone’s ERA and Threet’s solid spring we didn’t need to spend more?

  • Marcel

Mazone and Threets have like 12 IP combined in the big leagues.

    We NEEDED Ohman, period.

  • GScott

And Lindblom only has 34IP professionally, 0 of which is in the majors. And Kershaw has all of 3/4 of a season under his belt. Yet the vast majority of Dodger fans are hoping they’re the next Koufax/Drysdale. If we can put that much trust into a 21 year old for 200 innings and at least 15 wins, why is it such a reach to trust a career minor leaguer for 50 innings.

  • Marcel

Is this a serious question? Comparing a former top 5 prospect in all of baseball (Kershaw) and a 2nd round steal (Lindblom) – both of whom have plus fastballs and secondary pitches – to a 32-year-old who gave up more than a hit per inning in AAA (Mazone) and a guy with zero command whatsoever in Threets (6.4 BB/9 in minors).

It’s patently obvious why people would put more trust in one group of talents versus the other.
