Kuroda to DL, Stults to start tomorrow
It's a left oblique strain, a mild one. More when I can get to a real computer.

Stults had been penciled in to start for Albuquerque tonight vs. Omaha. But now that he's going up to the big club for at least one and maybe two starts, Giancarlo Alvarado will take the mound for the Isotopes this evening. This is interesting. I would have thought they would have given the start to Jeff Weaver.
By the way, the rival pitcher is going to be our "good friend" Luke Hochevar.
ABQ, thanks for the info. Alvarado made a Cactus League appearance on March 31 against the D-Backs, got knocked around a little but at least the staff saw him pitch. As for the decision on Stults, he is stretched out, where Weaver isn't. Weaver worked in relief all spring, so didn't build up his innings.
